
Republicans accept immigration. However, they believe that immigration into the country should be tightly controlled. They believe in the implementation of the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements system which checks the legitimacy of the resident's stay here. Another things heavily implemented by the Republican Party on immigration is border laws like border control and surveillance on the borders.

2. Education
The GOP supports the idea of a higher education. They are very supportive of raising education standards, and support high-achieving students aim higher. In financial terms, the GOP believes in no governmental interference in education. Included with that is the idea of getting rid of federal loans in its entirety as the price of college continues to rise, as does the inflation rate. Instead, the GOP wishes to rely on private loans for helping students pay for tuition.

3. Environment
While the GOP claims to support environmentalist ideas, they often contradict themselves. Even though they claim to value nature and wish to contribute back to it, they also argue that conservation must be balanced with the economy and both should be balanced just right. They believe that private property rights is the best way to protect the environment because they argue that "People who own the land also protect it."

4. Drug Legalization
The party is generally not supportive of the legalization of these drugs and substances.
"Gallup polls have shown that 65 percent of Democrats support legalization, which stands in stark contrast to a mere 35 percent of Republicans. In correlation with these numbers,... while the south and Midwest have far lower numbers [in support rate], as they tend to be Republican-run states."

In general Republicans support the system of a "flat tax" where everyone is taxed the same amount. This way, everyone is treated equally despite their economic standing. Also, Republicans generally are against raising taxes for whatever reason.
